Notes for William de Carrio Lord of Carris
Keats-Rohan calls him Willelm Filius Gerolds, William fitz Gerald, and says he inherited Moulsford near Wallingford. His wife was Sibil de Somery and he had two sons Raymond FitzGerold (dsp) and Odo Fitz William who adopted the style de Carew.
Round gives him two further sons, Gerald, the eldest, slain young in the time of Stephen, and Griffin of Ireland.
