In "Charlcote and the Lucys" A Fairfax-Lucy has her and her father's name, incorrectly, as Aston. I owe the correction to Martyn Freeth who led me to the visitation entries for the Lacons of Shropshire. Curiously I had not noticed that DNB had the name right.

Dame Joyce, the daughter and soule heire vnto Thomas Acton of Sutton, in com. Worcester, Esquire, and late the wyfe of the right worshipfull Sr Thomas Lucye of Charlecotte, in the Countye of Warwycke, Knight, had issue by her said husband as followeth, Sr Thomas Lucye, Knighte, their sonne and heire apparaunt, and Anne, maried to Sr Edward Aston of Tyxhall in Com. Stafford, knight: The same Dame Joyce departed this mortall lyffe at Charlcote aforsaid, the xth day of Februarye 1595, being then of the agge of threescore and three yeres: and was worshipfully broughte to the parishe churche of Charlcote aforsaid, and their buryed the 1xth daye of marche nexte followinge. The chefe morner was Mrs Joyce Lucy, daughter vnto Sr Thomas Lucye the yonger: Mrs Grevill, Mrs Varney, Mrs Littleton and Mrs Besbiche the asistantes, Clarencieulx King of Arms of the provence gaue order for the said funerall, and their sernyed with him Rougecroix: In wittnes of the truth hereof, we haue sette herevnto our hands, the day and yere aboue wretten
