In the Worcs visitation of 1569 for Alderford, he is shown to have a son William, who dsp, and the latter's heir, his sister Katharine who m. Richard Sheldon. If John was the brother of both, how come Katharine was William's heir?
In the Lyttleton pedigree in the same vis'n there is no suggestion that Katherine or her sisters Judith (m. Anthony Atwood), Frances or Sybell were heirs. This latter pedigree also shows brothers Thos and Wm who dsp and Anthony who had a son (dau?) Francis.
