In the visitation of Shropshire he is called the elder brother of Sir Stephen (Harleian Soc 29, p.438).  But he is not mentioned in his brother's will [possibly because he was already dead, Sir Stephen having lived to the ripe age of 84! - TFPL]

RCLP_L said he was the ancestors of the Slaneys of Hatton Grange, Nr Shifnal and of the Kenyon-Slaneys.
