GeneralOf Tipping Hall, Lancs. Of Merton, Oxon: 1623 Visitation.
Notes for William Tipping
m. a dau. of Sir Wm Rede of Boarstall by 2nd wife, Anne dau of William Wantham. See Pedigree of Rede in Boarstall, p. 66 in Lipscomb's Bucks, which lists Anne, Elizabeth and Mary as the daughters but with no further information.
Berks visitation of 1623 had his wife as the sister of William Read of Bostall, Oxon. It also had his father as a William of Typpinge hall in Lancashire, married to a dau of Dutton in Lancashire.
I wonder if there is any connection with the Anne Rede, dau ot Sir Wm Rede who m. Adrian Fortescue?
