January 6, 1968 (Banff's New Year's Baby) -
February 6, 2013

Kathy, after a heroic battle with mental health and other medical issues, died suddenly on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Kathy is survived by her parents Trish and Brian Brady and her father Gary Powys-Lybbe; siblings Karrin (Chris von Boetticher) Powys-Lybbe; Kristeen Brady, Diamond Brady, Joy (Keith) Gerwien, and Jon Cardinal-Brass; nieces Saoirse, Brighid, Sophie, Kayleigh, and nephew Max; special aunts and uncles Marlene and Reg Powys-Lybbe and Marni and Don McVey many other much loved aunts, uncles cousins and her beloved dogs.

In honour of Kathy's generous spirit, in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Suite 400, 105 - 12 Avenue S.E. (Kahanoff Centre), Calgary, AB T2G 1A1 or the Lung Association of Alberta, P.O. Box 4500, Station South, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 6K2.

A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, Alberta on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
