Notes for Sir John Tash
Curiously he is not listed in Iver church register.  His birth was in the year that his father died, meaning anything from just before he died to posthumous.  Katharine was born in Mar 1671, just after her father’s death so it is unlikely John was posthumous as well.  All a bit mysterious.

Boyd’s Citizens of London has his death as on 21 Oct 1735 aged 61 and buried at All Hallows the Great.  The death date has to be wrong as his will was proved on 3rd Oct 1735.

Boyd’s goes on to list 4 sons, John, dies 1724 aged 26, Henry, died 1745 aged 25, William and Thomas born 22 Aug 1702 and living in 1772.
Will notes for Sir John Tash
His will in PRO was dated 30th October 1731 and he described himself as Knight and Alderman of London.  It was proved on 3rd October 1735, so he probably died in September 1735.

He appointed as executors: his son William Tash, son-in-law Thomas Jackson and his brother-in-law Henry Ordway.

He divided his will into the customary three parts: a third to his wife Elizabeth, one third to his unmarried children (at his death) and one third between his sons William and a range of personal legacies.

In his will he also lists:
His son-in-law Richard Michell and Elizabeth his wife,
His son-in-law Thomas jackson and Sarah his wife,
His brother-in-law Henry Ordway and Sarah his wife (John’s sister?),
His daughter Anna Maria Tash,
His daughter Charlotte Tash,
James Langston of Crunmod (?) Fryars, London

The balance of the sixth of his estate after these legacies was to go to his sons Thomas and Henry Tash.
