Notes for Audrey Poyntz
She, and her sister Susan, were effectively disinherited by their grandfather Gabriel Poyntz in favour of the son of his daughter who changed his name from Morris to Poyntz.
The new heirs to the estates in fact died out and some of their relatives tried to keep hold of the estates but Audrey succeeded in wresting the whole lot back in 1647. See Maclean's "Memoirs of the Family of Poyntz" pp. 39-45.
