Notes for Francis Gerard
According to Burke's Extinct Baronets, 2nd edn of 1841, p. 217 on Gerard, he married Isobel, dau. of Sir Thomas Cheek and had three sons, the first of whom died dspm and the latter two dsp.
TFPL, July 2005: Lipscomb in his Bucks also shows that he m. Isabel, dau. of Thos Cheek of Pirgo.
My guess is that of the Two Thos Chekes of Pirgo of those times it was the elder who m. Essex Rich who were Isobel’s parents.
