While he signed his entry in the 1664-8 Visitation, it is noteworthy that he got his gt-grandfather wrong by saying that his grandmother was ‘Joanna da. of Sr Oliver Cromwell’. He was in fact Sir Henry C, as shown in other Barrington pedigrees on the same page.
