In an article in the American Neptune, Vol 8, 1948, pp. 320-24, titled "A seventeenth century chart publisher ... Smith & Ebbs" and by W R Chaplin, on p. 315 it says of William Mount the publisher:
"He married firstly, Mary, daughter of Thomas Huckell, of St Martins-le Grand (she died June 1745) and secondly, at Allhallows in the Wall, London, on 20 March 1746 [probably 1745 Old Style], Elizabeth, daughter of John Girle, M.D. [sic], Surgeon of St Thomas's Hospital. By his second wife, who survived him, he had no children."
His son John was also buried at St Katherine's, in 1786.
In 1749 he was Treasurer of St Thomas' Hospital, Southwark and lived there.
