Keeper and woodward of Earl of Oxford's park at Great Canfield.

The College of Arms tree to APL of Dec 1987 has this John's wife as Margaret Enfield. Yes, it looks like having been Margaret but no, the Enfield daughter married a Batell and was Elizabeth... (C of A own goal again.) The Visitation pedigree is confirmed by Clayton's history of the Barrington family and also makes Sir John's wife to be Blomvyle.

And in Betham's "Baronetage of England", 1801:
"9. John, who was knighted, and married margaret, daughter and heir of Sir John Blomvile, Knt, by whom he had two sons, John and Edward. He was member of parliament for Essex in 1330."
