1680 Whitchurch Baptism Register:
"1680 May 4 LYBBE Elizabeth d. Richard Esqre & Sophia"
1704 at St John's College, Oxon., married Dr J. Merrick of Reading.
They had three children, John, James and Elizabeth. Eliz. married Henry Austin Deane, but it seems there were no grandchildren, as the family portraits and canteen service reverted to our branch of the family.
TFPL: In Coates' History of Reading, p. 441, there is a latin inscription about Eliz Lybbe that states, to me, that she had 8 children. (Wish I knew latin better!) I can certainly deduce William, Francis, Anne as additonal children.
