Lybbe, Cha., at Hardwick, Oxfordsh. 04 Feb 1758 , aet. 77. (G.M. 94; L.M. 100.)

Possibly he was a medic of sorts as he appears in a footnote of a chapter on medicine in “The History of the University of Oxford” vol IV by Nicholas Tyacke, pub 1997 by Clarendon Press, Oxford, p. 531 as “Charles Lybbe, Magdalen Hall, 1682.

Similarly he appears in a footnoe 93, page 84 of “The Restoration Mind” ed. W Gerald Marshall pub by University of Delaware Press in 1997.

In “Fasti Oxoniensis” he appears as a ‘Doctor of Physic’ of Magd. Hall on July 5 1682, p. 384.  By Anthony a Wood et al, pub by Cochrane & Co in 1815.
