Argent a lion passant reguardant gules (?) on a mount vert - "Northamptonshire Families" in Victoria County History series, Ed Oswald Barron FSA, pub London 1906 by Archibald Constable & Co Ltd, p.269.

RCL P-L reported his arms as: Argent on a mount in base vert a lion statant regardant proper.

Arms on son-in-law’s MI: A lion reguardant.
