Burke's Commoners gives him the forename of Ambrose not William. His father was William.
They had issue including William of Lincoln's Inn.
The Salop vis’t also called him Ambrose so, in Mar 2006, I’m changing him to Ambrose.
On a web site is says of William the son:
William10. Of Lincoln's Inn and baptized at Trysull
on 1 Feb 1647 and the eldest of eight, whose issue
lived in Trysull until 1753.
They had issue including William of Lincoln's Inn.
