_______________
She and her brother Charles are buried in Wallingford cemetery, in a quite attractive (says a friend of mine) granite tomb.
Was she the Miss Powys who was present at WRL P-L's funeral in 1888?
In 1891 she was staying with her sister Millicent and the latter’s husband William Henman and was recorded as born in Whitchurch, Oxon.
In 1901 she was living at 80 High St, Wallingford with visitors Ethel M Powys [her niece] and Kenneth C P Thomson [a great nephew from Canada, though born in Scotland and then aged 2], living on own means, aged 61 and born in Whitchurch, Oxon.
In 1911 She was still at 80 High Street, Wallingford and with her niece Mabel Thomson nee Powys with her three children; plus three servants, one being a ‘sick nurse’, for herself I wonder?
She died in the Apr to Jun qtr of 1921, ref Wallingford 2c 343.
