In 1871 she was 38 and living as a boarder at Wokingham, Berks with no occupation. The family was that of Elliott Morres with their son Elliott James Morres and the latter’s daughter Mary Ann. It is very tempting to think that these Morreses are related to the ffamily of Rev Thomas Morres also of Wokingham.
TFPL, Sept 2019: She was with relations by marriage. Elliot was the first son of Robert Morres and the second son of Robert was Thomas who was the father of Hugh Redmond who had married Sarah Jane, the slightly younger sister of Isabella. Sophia was nearby at the parsonage in Wokingham, heavily pregnamt with her first daughter Mary Beatrice.
In 1881 she was down as ‘Isabella L Poweys, single, b.1833 at Southgate, Mx’ it was her.
And in 1889 she was the executor of Charlotte Morres with whom she had been living.
In 1911 census, she was living with her sister Millicent Henman at 76 High St, Bekesbourne, Wallingford, Berks and with them was the 10 month year-old Isabella Powys Thomson. Millicent declared she had had no children; both sisters were born in Southgate, Middlesex. There was a nurse, probably for their gt-niece, and two staff. The young Isabella’s mother, Mabel Powys, and three siblings were not far away in Wallingford with Emma Powys. this Isabella Lybbe's younger sister by three years.
